Elisabeth Leamy

Dr. Oz Investigative Correspondent and Author

Today’s guest is a nationally known TV journalist as well as a critically acclaimed author and nationwide speaker. Elisabeth Leamy is most known for contributing to the Dr. Oz show and ABC News as a consumer advocate and money-saving expert. Elisabeth has been contributing to the Dr. Oz show since 2013 as an consumer and investigative correspondent. Prior to that, she spent 9 years working as a Consumer reporter for Good Morning America and other national ABC News programs. She still contributes to ABCNews.com where she writes a money column. She is also the author of two books including “Save Big: Cut Your Top 5 Costs and Save Thousands” and “The Savvy Consumer: How To Avoid Scams and Rip-Offs That Cost You Time and Money.”

Three takeaways from our interview today include:

  1. Her most embarrassing money moment. Like super embarrassing. It pains her to share it.
  2. How a college boyfriend helped her with getting out of debt.
  3. Scoring BIG financial wins so you can keep enjoying your daily latte.
