Mr. and Mrs. 1500, Early Retirees

Today’s guests are soon-to-be early retirees at age 43. Mr. and Mrs. 1500 are here but their real names are Carl and Mindy. They’re documenting their journey to financial independence on their blog, 1500 Days with the goal of having a portfolio of $1M by February 2017. This is… you guessed it… 1500 days from the birth of the blog on January 1, 2013. But I learned in the interview they’ve actually surpassed that goal early, so how are they doing it? Their plan is to aggressively save, make smart lifestyle choices and invest. Carl and Mindy are an open book sharing exact figures and information with their readers.

On the show they talk about how they reached all those goals and what’s next? They’re both in their early 40’s now. So, what are they going to do? How are they going to define this new chapter in their lives and what can we learn?
